My WW this week is a little different.  It’s Jake’s Power Point project for science class.  I want you to check out how much work I he put into this darn thing. It is unbelievable what is expected of 10 year olds these days.  Between all his my crying and his AND my puking, it ended up being kind of fun, but time consuming.  So, check it out.  It’s pretty cool!

*Plus- we are doing a little experiment with Jake’s meds.  He’s not taking any!  We’re hoping he’ll be able to put some weight on, while being off the Ritalin.  So far, so good!  It’s been 3 years since he’s been stimulant free, so it’s going to take a little while for him to be able to control himself, but he’s doing a pretty darn good job of it so far.

This spider is on a bush right outside our garage.  I have a thing for spiders.  I could watch him all day!  I have even caught moths for him.  He shed his skin a few weeks ago.  I had NO idea they could do that!!  Very cool!

This is my dad’s father, Harry.  I’m not sure who the other man is…possibly his father? I think my grandfather looks a lot like my older brother, Jason.

Sorry about the glare of the lamps in the background!  Bad photography on my part!

These are my mom’s parents.  Ralph and Anne Hansen.  Don’t you just love their outfits and hair dos? Ralph was from Norway and Anne was from Russia.  Correct me if I’m wrong, mom, but I think they were the first of their families born in America.  There’s a lot of cool family history- mom- you should start a blog and just blog about all the stories you’ve dug up with cousin Lorraine!  Grandma Anne died before I was born and I never really got to know Ralph- as my only memories of him, he was senile.  I’m so happy my kids have relationships with both sets of their grandparents!  They are soooo lucky.

I just noticed while posting this that Bailey has the same shaped face as her great grandmother!!

This is Lesley and I when we were babies.  We’ve been best friends forever! Amazing to still have someone as your best friend who you played with, potty trained with, learned to swim with, grew up with.  Lesley’s more than a friend, she’s the sister I never had.  I love you, Les!

This is Lesley and I now…we look a little mellow, but I swear that was my first drink! This was at the Hard Rock hotel and casino in Hollywood, Fl.
